With the computer culture going into the people's lives and penetrating all areas of society, computer education is emerging vigorously. At present, the computer Fundamentals Series courses has become a required public course in colleges and universities, the importance of which is beyond doubt. However, the teaching evaluation system about computer Fundamentals Series courses is very small. Most of the traditional evaluation systems mainly emphasize the qualitative evaluation but neglect the quantitative evaluation, which is likely to lead to the results of the evaluation is far away from the actual situation because of mixing too many subjective factors.On the basis of the scores of Hunan Province's colleges Computer Rank Examination (etc:HNCRE) and universities in 2007 and the current information influencing colleges and universities' computer teaching, the study develops a variety of statistics and analysis using SPSS, then finds the relationship between the teaching teachers, teaching hours, teaching hardware resources and teaching effectiveness. At last, the study proposes a prediction model of the influence of teaching performance (test scores).Firstly, the paper elaborates the evaluation research methods, evaluation index system and education evaluation, education statistics and introduces the SPSS software tools. Then, the paper proposes a questionnaire form of influencing computer foundation teaching's relevant factors and introduces the scores of HNCRE in 2007. The paper studies the influences of teaching resources, class time and teaching resources using of SPSS software and carries out the scores prediction model, then proposes a vision of education reform combining with the results of a questionnaire survey of graduates. The paper develops a courses teaching evaluation system according to the results of the study, and describes the system's design, technology and the realization method of some key function, The system has some characteristics such as strong professional, easy to use and so on. Finally, the paper's prospects the future work.
