Research Of MPEG-4 Video Watermarking Technologies

With the rapid development of computer network and multimedia technology, Multimedia knowledge copyright protection becomes an urgent problem to be solved. MPEG-4 as a new type of compression standard based on object can widely used. So,digital watermarking technology based on MPEG-4 has got more and more extensive research.This paper introduces video concept, main characteristic,classification and technological difficult point of video watermark at first, analyzes the MPEG-4 principle,studies the main video watermarking algorithms based on MPEG-4. Based which, a method of video watermarking which is based on DCT domain in MPEG-4 is designed. This paper provides the design and implementation course of algorithm,and test result. The algorithm uses wavelet transforms chaos theory and spread frequency technology to do the watermarking pretreatment,and choose the watermarking embedded domain according to the texture characters of video images. The algorithm,which uses for reference of the idea of LSB algorithm,embeds the watermark information into DC component in DCT domain of I-VOP.The results which the paper programs the algorithm and does the simulation experiments indicate that the watermark has good invisibility,robustness,real time capability and security,accord with the requirement of random test also.
