At the present time the network of information, because applications such as e-government, e-commerce are widely used, there is more and more relational database data through the network to store and distribute, the data often contains enormous social value and economic value, become a valuable data resource. How to protect the copyright of the relational data by adopting the effective mechanism is an important problem in research of database security. Now, digital watermarking technology is one of the most effective ways to protect the copyright of digital productions. Therefore, there is necessary to research digital watermarking technology for relational database to solve the problem of copyright protection of database, regarding to the feature of relational database and digital watermarking technology.In this paper, basis on the research about existing database watermarking algorithm, we introduce chaos transform into database watermarking treatment and expand the construction space of watermarking, design a system of database zero-watermarking basis on chaos transform. The main works and some innovative achievements mainly reflect in the following aspects:First, due to good uncertainty, discrete pseudo-randomness and initial value sensitivity of chaos transform, we apply chaos transform into the process of database zero-watermarking construction and detection, use chaos sequence to select data items that to be constructed to zero-watermarking.Second, expand the construction space of watermarking, use average of feature weight length to classify data items, expand the construction space of watermarking to Second Significant Bit and Third Significant Bit of data items. So that watermarking extract more discrete in relational database while it can meet the requirements of watermarking construction.Third, in order to prevent encrypted initial watermarking be deciphered by chaos synchronization analysis, in this paper, we improve the encryption algorithm that use one-dimensional chaotic systems to encrypt initial watermarking, introduce hyper chaos system to encrypt initial watermarking, improve thesafety of the watermarking system.Finally, verify all the works by simulate experiments, the results of simulate experiments have shown that the zero-watermarking algorithm has good performance and availability.
