The Research About "Gatekeeper" Of Internet Media

The American social psychology Kurt Lewin raised the "gatekeeper" theory in 1947, with the development of the theory, the "gatekeeper" theory became to a classic communication theory, it greatly enrich the mass communication theory,what is more, it not only illustrates the control phenomenon in the communication activity, but also totally summarizes the role,tincture,function and duty of the "gatekeeper" in media, and provides the theory foundation for the information inspection in the process of the information dissemination.However, the appearance of the inertnet media changed mass communication Activities greatly. The Features of internet communication, such as the enhance of interaction, the increasing of the disseminator,crippled the Status of the "gatekeeper", even the missing of the "gatekeeper". The absence of the internet information gatekeeper, will lead to orderless of the internet information, and the flooding of the spam and the harmful information. All of these will bring about serious consequence. It also has bad influence to the development of the internet communication, so the reaserch of the internet"gatekeeper"extremely urgent.My research follows the route of the"gatekeeper"examination, carefully analysises the changes of the"gatekeeper"in the internet communication. What is more, the research will classify the internet information filter tecnology, and introduce the process of the information filtration.At last, analyse the connections between the internet information filter tecnology and human's internet communication, and give some suggestions to the internet information filtration. The main conclusions of this research are as follows:1. Due to the features of the internet communication, the "gatekeeper" theory has following changes:(1) The "gatekeeper" started to Guide the audience to choose the internet information;(2) monitoring network, cleaning up bad information;(3)"opinion leaders", the appearance of the"civilian gatekeeper".2. Analyse the internet information filter tecnology, and inroduce the whole process of the internet information filtration.3. The application of internet information filter tecnology, has a tremendous impact on human's communication. On the contrary, the changes of the human's communication also raise the new demands to the internet information filtration:(1) Update internet information filter tecnology constantly;(2) Raise the Accuracy of the internet information filtration;(3) Enhance the objectivity of the internet information filtration.
