The rapid development of network and computer has provided powerful technological support for modern online teaching, and various online teaching platforms appear successively. Then, how can the new technology be applied to the development and design of Q & A system module in the online teaching platforms so as to diversify the Q & A types, thus, no longer being confined to simple text exchanges such as watching a segment of the Q & A video at once, voice communication with each other and so on? If this is done, it will elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of Q & A, and enhance the quality of online teaching, which is of great significance to the implementation of online teaching. With Flash Media Server of Adobe Company as a platform, and adopting streaming media videos in FLV format as the main form of real-time Q & A, this system improves the current automatic Answer System which can only feed back text messages and realizes the real-time audio, video, and text communications of both sides. The real-time video in the system includes three forms: the teacher-student real-time Q & A, the student-student real-time Q & A, and searching records of the previous Q & A video. In addition, a module for leftover questions is also designed for teachers to answer later, which complements the disadvantages of the real-time Q & A.In a virtual network space, this system, through the various Q & A forms of text, voice, video and etc., realizes the spread of a variety of educational information between teachers and students, and between students and students, thus, giving full play to the network advantages and providing greater flexibility for network education.
