Because of the internet own offerings,the large data transporting a long-distanced has becomed a difficult and hot matter in the Internet.Overlay network generated at the rapid development of Internet technology and application of more and more widely,the Internet "best effort" service model has been unable to meet the application of network services for the people.Overlay network set up at the IP network,and it has very good flexibility and fault-tolerant performance without anything changing on the ground floor of a large-scale.Spines is a generic and open source code overlay network using hop-by-hop transmission protocol and real-time protocol can restore a good real-time transmission to improve the latency,jitter and packet loss rate and other characteristics.Here is support for a higher quality of service requirements of real-time multimedia services,can be used in network protocol development and testing to provide the required application service users.When the large data transporting a long-distanced,there often come a loss and transmission slowing.To solve this problem,our overlay network at the application of a forward error correction technology and retransmission methods of combining data and the characteristics of overlay network for the proposed overlay network bandwidth used to test algorithms and the sending end to send the bandwidth determination algorithm.The transmission coverage of network quality of service has been enhanced significantly With the existing methods of transmission.In this paper,the introduction of the Spines overlay network structure and software-level implementation structure,and set up a Spines on NS-2 simulation platform.For high loss rate and the many retransmission when data traffic a long distance,we have an in-depth research on forward error correction technology which widely using in data link layer,and made an overlay network with ARQ and FEC Ways of combining mass.This method to ensure the reliability of network under the premise of data can reduce the number of retransmission packets,saving network resources. This strategy has a strong possibility.After analysis of data transmission network bandwidth measurement methods, the proposed overlay network bandwidth used in measurement algorithm for Overlay network of forward error correction and retransmission combining strategy.Overlay network bandwidth measurement algorithm implementation of the available bandwidth for each hop the purpose of measurement and simple.The algorithm of Overlay network to determine the sending end to send bandwidth can be applied to better coverage of network bandwidth resources,reduce the network delay and the emergence of congestion.In addition,we proposed an E-spine overlay network architecture for assessment the performance of strategies and algorithms,and put an algorithm to determine the sending bandwidth which fit the E-spines overlay network,and the use of algorithm complexity analysis and network simulator ns-2 from a different point of view a detailed analysis and experiments.Simulation results show that:with the existing long-distance data transmission compared to protocol,E-spines overlay network in the network transmission network reliability and speed improvements have significantly reduced the emergence of network retransmission,improve network utilization showed satisfactory results.In this paper,the work hope to be able to reach data transmission and Internet network for research and development play a role in promoting.
