Research Into The Information Service System For Intelligent Public Transportation Based On Integrated Traffic Guidance

Traffic jam at present is a common problem that restricts the harmonious development of city economy and society. As an important part of intelligent transportation systems, public transport information service system is considered to be a crucial means to alleviate the traffic congestion. The study of public transport information service system suiting for the domestic characteristics is very important. However, it is very important to supply more reasonable and effective trip information by integrating different traffic guidance ways in the growing public transit net. And it is also an important part of public transport information service system.Several problems of the field of public transport information services in depth have been sudied supported by existing project and some good results have been obtained in this dissertation:1. Through analyzing the information needs of traveler, we built the system framework of public transport information service system, and completed the function design of its subsystems.2. Based on the traffic guidance model, the guidance traffic model of public transport system was built for the characteristics of public transportation traveler The integrated guidance strategy has been achieved and this can provide theoretical support for the intelligence of public transport information service system.3. Based on the information issuing technology that exists, we used the combiniation ways of data broadcasting, Web, E-mail, RSS, SMS, audio signal, etc. to realize the integrating of travel guidance. The question of a large number of guidance terminations cause mass information exchange was to be solved by bringing the information exchange platform based on ACE.4. Based on the analysis of the system and the research of key technologies, the system is divided into information processing center, information exchange platform, information service termination three-part. The overall system was designed from the perspective of hardware, software and data-base. GPS data for write operations have an impact on business systems; therefore, the concept of pre-database is introduced to separate GPS data from the other business database. The integrated information service model with multi-media releases and multi-information source was achieved. Through the implementation of several public transport projects, the feasibility and effectiveness of the research was verified.In the end, further developments on intelligent public transport information service system are explored.
