Research And Development Of Communication Interface Of Soft-PLC

The research of Soft-PLC system becomes the focus of industrial automation field. Compared with the traditional PLC, it has open architecture, more capacity in the network communication and data processing. Besides, the system can meet the requirement of modern industry automation control. With the IPC to be more and more used in industry control, it is a huge waste of powerful IPC if the high-performance IPC machines only use to run the control programme, and it does not comply with the Purpose of saving cost of the soft-PLC. So the study of soft PLC communication interface to expand PC-based soft PLC function is necessary.At present, the study of Soft-PLC only focused on I/O logic control, but the function of supervising and data management are yet to be complete. Though analyzes the deficiency of the Soft-PLC, the structure of Soft-PLC connected with configuration software is proposed in this paper. The paper start from Soft-PLC communication interface, through the communication of Soft-PLC between configuration software and I/O device, extend the senior function of Soft-PLC such as supervising and management function.At first, by analyzing the the structure of real-time database of configuration software, this paper studied the communication interface between Soft-PLC and real-time database of configuration software, and developed the interface module of softPLC and configuration software based on this method. And then try to use XML data description language, which is unrelated with the hardware and software platform, as data management data files of Soft-PLC. Finally, take a serial I/O device for example, develops the Soft-PLC I/O drivers as modular. fully uses the powerful supervision and management function of configuration software, and realizes the integration between softPLC and configuration software.Though the actual test of this soft-PLC communication interface, the Procedures can meet the requirements of the subject, realized the data exchange between Soft-PLC and configuration software and I/O device, completed the function expansion of the Soft-PLC functions.
