A Semiotics Analysis About The Archival Virtual

From Professor Ding Haibin's giving definition of archives: archives are signs of original records which human activity made, so as to know that archives virtualization is primarily a virtual sign. In this paper, a virtual sign of the archives to make a general analysis and discussion of the basic idea is both logic and history from the surface of the archive symbols inherent logic of the relationship between virtual and external history of the evolution of each other legislation permits interoperability for virtual archive depicts a new scene.From the semantics, the relationship between consciousness and thinking, semiotics, philosophy and history of the five aspects, this article interprets people's different understandings about the virtual,and thinks that virtual is human's thought and consciousness and their all external performance shapes.Based the relationship between archives and virtual, the meaning of sign in this article is very narrow and simple, that is, the record of sign. It is not only the external form of information or material carrier,but also is an indispensable element of a basic for the expression and dissemination of information , and with the virtual exists between broad and deep contact.Encoding virtual can be divided into broad and narrow virtual virtual.they are essentially creations of human consciousness and the existence of patterns, expressions and practices.According to a variety of record signs and recording mode used by human, the archives history of the evolution of sign virtual could be divided into three different historical stages: non-literature's symbolic virtual, characters and other signs reproducing a single virtual, digital sign superimposed virtual. a process of encoding is the core of the archives virtual.From the entire history of the development process,this process has gone through different historical stages and has been given a two-tier and value of different meanings: first, signal meaning and value of the object ; second,the meaning and value for the creators of signs.In short, since there was the virtual archives (tools and techniques) and people's feet still walked on the ground, the thought of mankind through the symbols of the wings has long been flying in the sky.
