The Internationalization And Digitalization Development Strategy Of China's Scientific And Technical Journals From The View Of Journals Editor

Since its emergence, scientific and technical journals have been one of the stable and important communication media among academic dissemination system. In a very long period of time, traditional paper-based academic journals have greatly promoted the dissemination of academic information which significantly contributes to scientific research and social development.The development of network technology brings new hope and opportunity to academic information exchange. Online-published electronic journals win a lot of publishers and readers due to their incomparable advantages. Traditional publishers are becoming greatly involved in electronic publishing, the big electronic journals platform founded on technique advantage has been becoming the main melody of sciences exchange today world。Literatures based on this platform are always armed with citation connection system that can lead to platforms of other Internet publishers. The digital object identifier (DOI) is one of important standards for reference citation. Almost all current literatures based on large platforms with DOI License, while open access (OA) is a completely new academic publishing mechanism publishing for scientific and technical journals. This paper is an empirical study on big platform with DOI code and OA publishing mothed, which helps promote the internationalization and digitalization of our scientific and technical journals and the development of world-class journals. Finally, the paper analyze the publishing environment of our scientific and technical journals, then gives the publishing competing strategy.The full text is divided into seven parts:The first part is introduction, including the research background and significance, the current situation of open access and DOI. as well as the innovation of this article and introduction of research methods.The second part gives simple definition of scientific and technical journals and an analysis of the development trends of scientific and technical journals in the internet era, then the in-depth analysis on the china's journal development from the perspective of journal editors is given.The third part gives an overview of DOI, including its main connotation, its emergence background, its development process, its function and the angent system of DOI. The fourth part is the brief introduction of OA publishing ,including its definition, emergence background, development process, two realization methods and its problems.The fifth part gives a comparative analysis of well-known Chinese and foreign publishers and network platform of journal publishers, specially, the case study of journals that adopt OA and DOI based on the digital platform is given.The sixth part gives some countermeasure and advice on how to enhance the international competence power of China's scientific and technical journals industry, then the author suggest to build the unite platform of Chinese science and technology literature.The seventh part is conclusion, which gives a summary of research content, the problems of this article, then suggests the follow-up study.
