Exploring The Development And Change Of Aesthetic Style Through The Design Of Column Title In The Harvest

With the development and evolution of contemporary literature, the carrier of literature moves towards diversification. Literary journals as one of the carriers of literature continuously develop and improve with contemporary literature. On July 24th 1957, the Harvest written by Ba Jin and Jin Yi was born, a purely literary journal. From starting publication till present, The Harvest is double suspension and republication, trekking hardly on a tortuous road. The developing track of The Harvest reflects uncanny changes of many aspects of China society and related literature response. By using the method of textology and statistical method, this paper systematically investigates and deeply explores the journal texts, column setup,aesthetic style of The Harvest at three different stages. It surveys the related historical information, such as journal texts, the memoirs of parties, the description of related historical books, and compares the related historical information and data. The aims are to discuss and explore the publication style, editorial idea, development history, effect on contemporary literature development, especially to further study on the changes of column design and aesthetic style. Meanwhile, this paper tries to find the reason and influence of the double suspension and double republication. And, it researches and discusses some factors that influence the innovation and development of The Harvest, including literary policy in different period, mechanism system, social development, etc.Thinking and researching the above questions, it not only helps us learn The Harvest generally through the process of time and social development, but also helps us deeply think the difficulties that contemporary literature meets and its responding strategies in the process of its sustainable development. It is highly notable that, since new period, the situation of literary journal is always closeness, combination and transfer. In current cultural context, investigating and controlling the development track of The Harvest could broaden our view, pioneer our thinking, and significantly help to wholly realize the historical contribution of The Harvest and our obligation in this society profoundly.
