The Localization Of The Applied Research Of SAP R/3

Under the environment of economic globalization and China' s accession to the WTO, commercial enterprises are faced with fierce competition in domestic markets and international markets. They are faced with tremendous pressure over the business management. As the enterprises themselves in terms of, they must adopt advanced management information system so as to shorten the gap with foreign enterprises and remain invincible. More and more attention is being paid to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Both the theoretical research or practical applications, ERP is regarded as the representatives of advanced management. The nucleus of ERP is supply chain management, making the logistics, capital flow, information flow, value-added flow and work flow coordinated to ensure convergence precision of all aspects in production or service, eliminating all null and void labor force and strengthen the core competitiveness. ERP use of computer systems, automation systems, decision-making systems, networks and other technology to support mixed-mode manufacturing environment, to support dynamic monitoring ability and to support open client / server computing environments.SAP system is currently in the international ERP industry is ranked first in market share, but it exist non-adaptive instinct in the face of China's special conditions and market conditions. SAP system experienced significant obstacles when entering domestic market. Under such market conditions, SAP systems have done a lot of localization work about its operating environment and function modules. This is the focus of this study.The thesis first provided a detailed overview of SAP R/3 system, including system framework, module structure, function features and application status at home. On that basis, the thesis studied the module integrated strategy of R/3 system, and done a detailed analysis of system integration in terms of application module, application interface, basic system and system technology. On the basis of the status that we analysed many non-adaptive to use R/3 system of enterprises, the thesis focuses on localization strategy of R/3 system for dealing with these situations. At the same time, described the development environment of SAP R/3 system.
