The CAD Design Of Compound Die For Blanking And Drawing Based On SolidWorks

Along with the development of the industry, the stamping die is applied more and more extensively. Meanwhile, the speed up of industrial products update has put forward high request to the designing quality and efficiency of die, except that guarantee quality of design of die . This paper take improving effectively the automaticity of die design as a starting point.The research object in this thesis is the compound die for Blanking and drawing used for box-type component , it's parameterized design and secondary development could be realized, and its standard parts library have been establishmented based on SolidWorks in this thesis.The system regards SolidWorks 2007 as the designing platform and Visual Basic6.0 as the programming tool to develop.This paper first explains in detail the process design and the structure design of compound die for blanking and drawing, and then makes design selection and calculation for main forming parts and various standard parts, such as drawing punch , blanking female die, convex and concave die for blanking and drawing . The overall framework of compound die for blanking and drawing has been basically defined.Due to box-shape part is multi product, its size of structure is renewed more rapidly, and the die's is also changed. The principle of parametric design and key technology, and methods of secondary development are introduced, it is the emphasis of the passage. In VB6.0 circumstance, parameterized design of box-shape part and main forming parts of compound die for blanking and drawing have been implemented. The designer only needs to modify parameters to complete parametric design of various parts. Because tedious modification of size of model are avoided, this system improves the level of automation of compound die for Blanking and drawing design greatly.Due to a large number of standard parts being used repeatedly in the process of compound die for blanking and drawing designing, its standard parts library have been establishmented , it is anther emphasis of the passage. This library not only can be called by stamping die of box-shape product, but also can provide shared resource with similar stamping die. It can reduce duplicate work in design process and improve design efficiency largely. And it is of practical significance to improving the competitive competence of the corporation.Mould' s virtual assembly in SolidWorks was studied in the paper. And complete process of compound die for blanking and drawing is completed. In addition, the dynamic analog display for the process of mould' s assembly and disassembly were realized by SolidWorks and AnimatorAnimator, and it's AVI file was generated. Playing the file is more convenient.
