The thesis researches the control of arriving aircrafts'intervals. The object of the research is to minimize the intervals between arriving aircrafts based on the minimum safe intervals, which can increase the flux of arriving aircrafts and augment the capacity of airspace. The arriving aircraft system belongs to DEDS essentially. Based on pseudo-time series, the system is translated into the generic system which can be analyzed and designed by traditional control theory. Further more, the system takes on lots of uncertain characteristics, so it is logical to handle the uncertain system by robust control theory. The thesis designs the proper roubust controller to ensure the robust stability and performancen of the system, and focuses on the method of Riccati and LMI in robust control, which are both demonstrated very powerful by simulations in MATLAB. Then, the comparative research is done among H2 /H∞robust control, performance guaranteed control and robust variance control. The result of simulation illustrates that the research based on robust control is feasible, which supplies the academic elements and new method to design the automation of air traffic control.
