With the development of economy and people's living level in recent years.The automobile industry develops rapidly in our country which drive the automobile electronic industry advanced with great step, with the demand of safety, comfortable and multi-function characters improve, simple vehicle electronic equipment could not satisfy people more and more harsh need. With the introduction of automation technology, automobile electronic, multimedia Internet technology and wireless communication technology, it has become a tendency of vehicle information system about systematic design and multi-function design. So satisfy the more needs of the consumer having become the main direction of the automobile industry when pursuit the comfortable, convenient, rapid and ensure driving safety,efficiency.Intelligent vehicle system offer drivers many kinds of service, such as play multimedia file, entertainment and visiual back function and so on. It promotes the vehicle's performance greatly. Embedded technology is a very good solution for automotive electronics. Intelligent vehicle with high performance and low cost can be developed using embedded technology.This paper stems from the ministry of Chongqing science and technology commission's research item "industrial automation instrument embedded system development platform", Using embedded linux technology and the arm microprocessor applied to multi-function vehicle electronic equipment. The main work and achievements of this paper are summarized as follows:First, narrate the research background of this paper and the technology of vehicle multi-function system home and abroad. Analysis the current popular implementation scheme of the vehicle multi-function system, Proposed that using embedded Linux technology and arm technology in the vehicle multi-function system.Secondly, it having summarized the whole designs of the vehicle multi-function system and having described the hardware platform briefly, according to me's works emphase discuss the software design and the transplanting and realization drivers about lcd, touchscreen, sound calorie and usb interface in the vehicle multi-function system. On the base of the hardware which based on s3c2410 microprocessor, selecting and using embedded Linux operation as soft platform, according to the system's character design and implement the system's guidance procedure bootloader , linux kernel clipping and transplanting, making the root file system for the system which build the vehicle multi-function system software platform successfully.Finally, according to the functions design of the vehicle multi-function system and it's actual demand.On the base of embedded Linux operation platform, choosing Qt/E implement the system's user software interface, On the base of the interface of v4l design visual back software, implement the visual back function.The system realized the anticipated functions after testing and debugging work. At the end of the thesis, it makes summary and conceives of the system and gives a future prospect.
