Research And Implementation Of Network Information Content Analysis And Recovery System

With the rapid development of Internet technology and widely used of Internet, more and more network technology can be used for people to communicate with each other and meanwhile the interaction information between people becomes more and more complicated. Thus, the security of network information content is confronted with challenges. In this situation information content security problem becomes a hot spot in network security research. Now the supervision on network information content mainly focuses on the legality of network resources. With the the growing number of the various application services, monitoring the information content of application services is a trend. Data capture technology, protocol analysis technology and information recovery technology are used to monitor the network information content. Through using the technology above, we can capture, analyze and recover the data transported in the network to detect and intercept the invalid information.This paper does some research on the related technology of network information content supervision on the basis of the actual needs of the network environment, and designes a network information content analysis and recovery system. This system is divided into four modules according to the function, which includes information filter and capture module, protocol analysis module, conversation sort module and content analysis and recovery module. This system can capture the real-time packets in the network and record them to the capture file. It can also implement protocol analysis and conversation sort according to the analysis result for each packet. Meanwhile the system can recover interaction information of SMTP sending mail services, POP3 receiving mail services and MSN communication services. After recovery, the system will store the result of the content recovery to detect the invalid information as soon as possible, which provides evidences to the network supervisor.On the basis of design and implementation of network information content analysis and recovery system, the paper completes the system test and the prospect is given for the further improvement of the system.
