Fuel Cell Vehicle(FCV) is a very popular research project nowadays. FCV is a complex system which consists of many devices.It's difficult to find the causes of the problem merely by experiences while a problem occurred.To get and display operating data precisely is very necessary. To achieve this request,a display system in vehicle is designed.When the vehicle runs,the display system displays a series of data of concern, check status,and save the original data for research after experiments.A new display system in vehicle is designed in this paper.The system, based on ARM9 microprocessor and Windows CE embedded operating system,has solved some problems of the old display system in the fuel cell bus of our college.Compared with the old display system which comprise a mini-industrial computer and a control system with a DSP microprocessor,the hardware is more simple,and the system is more steady.Compared with the old display system based on ARM7 &μCLinux(orμC/OS-Ⅱ),the microprocessor has a better performance,and the application is easier to program.After basic functions of a display system in vehicle and problems of the old display system are analyzed,the task of development is set up. According to the structure of embedded system,hardware layer,diver layer,OS layer and application layer of the display system are designed in turn.Work includes:to choose a development board with S3C2410X, extend CAN communication interface;to program driver for the CAN communication interface;to customize Windows CE to fit hardware and functions of the display system,create OS image file and download it into the development board;to design application program of the display system;to test and perfect the display system.At last,the entire development work is summarized in this paper,and expectation is put forward in allusion to the system.
