Because of the development of digital photographing,digital photo frame comes up in times,because only 35 percent of the digital photo will be printed on paper.The basic principle of digital photo frame is making use of the shape of common frame,and replace the original photo with a LCD screen,then go with power,storage medium,and so on,thus it can display digital photos.Digital frame can loop playback photos,which is great advantages over the general frame having only one single photo,digital photo frame market developed quickly since 2007.In 2008,digital photo frame market is showing the trend of rapid development,with a high potential market value.Therefore,I write this thesis,Development of Digital Photo Frame Based on Embedded ARM Platform.As an embedded product,the core component CPU is from the high price-performance,high power-performance ARM architecture series,Samsung S3C2440A; The LCD screen supports double-precision scanning.About software,Bootloader is the mature u-boot-1.1.4;Linux kernel version is 2.6.12;The system software is busybox,bash, and so on.ARM processor have mature portable Linux system,built-in LCD controller,audio controller,SD and USB controller,that we can process image display,audio play and file management.Compared with the image display and file management function of most digital photo frame,my image display realizes the function:moving photo by touch;I designed the file management function as windows explorer.It has plentiful managing function,and easy for users who is familiar with windows to operate,and ready for upgrading to the next generation's segmental product—digital album.The system's key point is system migration of the platform based on ARM and the QT application design.First of all,choose the right combination of hardware in accordance with general design ideas and then do u-boot migration,embedded Linux migration,QT Embedded/Qtopia migration,and,finally,QT graphical interface design.
