The development of online games is different from the traditional development process, it is reaearched from the computer graphics and networking technology , through detailed analysis made by the development of the game for the most effective program structure and algorithm. Large-scale terrain rendering technology is based on Direct X and the Internet connection is the game the forefront of research topics, is recognized as the most promising key technologies.Large-scale topographic rendering of the two main problems are topographic data storage issues and problems of triangle. For video games, this paper presents a Quadtree LOD algorithm to solve large-scale rendering terrain in the triangle of issues. And the use of the technology sphere sky, Lens flare, technology and bulletin board technology, and other technology, to ensure the prerequisite for rendering speed, effectively raising the true extent of the visual scene.Networking technology is the development of online games that one of the key technologies, as the level of domestic research and development is behind, the client and server development of the existence of many problems, such as the data storage content to choose whether it is reasonable or not, and information processing delays too long, and so on. This article details of the client and server data structure set up, mading a voyage to speculate law to resolve the long delay in processing information, the effective solution of the load balancing, and to ensure that the data of communications security. To test this thesis by the effectiveness of the method, conducted their experiments. From the experimental results, it achieved the expected results.
