Research On Detecting Color Characteristics And Color Correction Technology Of Six-ink Printer

Six-ink printing can effectively expand the color gamut of printer's space, enhanced printed image's resolution and color clarity. So color management of six-ink printer become hot spots in the area of printing technology.This paper mainly research on detecting CMYKLcLm six-ink printer's color characteristics and color correction algorithm. First outlined the basic knowledge of color management, Proposed features and difficult of six-ink printer's color management. Ultra-designed color samples of six-ink printer. Use PCL language control six-ink printer, Get six-ink printer's color feature and visualizated it's gamut. Base on existing six-ink printer's color correction algorithm, an algorithm of color correction which is based on principal component of CMY is proposed and implemented.
