Design And Realization Of Data Inquiry Between Heterogeneous Databases System Based On XML

Along with the widespread application of campus net in college, the campus Net technology has got a quick development. In many colleges it has been presented to the schedule for constructing numerical campus, or has already constructed own numerical campus. It has been generally circulated to the various system and each kind of database for campus net in college, such as student status management, result management, personal management and so on, and accumulated lots of data. It is one of the main tasks in campus net to integrate various applications and data.The establishment of a unified digital campus portal. To achieve the goal, we must eliminate the campus network applications generated by the "information isolated island" phenomenon.This issue has a research project in Chongqing Vocational Technical College campus heterogeneous database data inquiry system. Discussed in the text of heterogeneous database through data inquiry on the theory, Analysis of the traditional method of data integration by the existing problems, XML-based data integration in heterogeneous database of the relevant technical studies, using the XML-based data integration to achieve heterogeneous database ideas.XML is a kind of semi-structured data model,can describe a wide variety of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Using XML can be satisfactorily resolved the Integration issues.Therefore,in system design,selection of XML-based data Integration technology, using ASP.NET development tools, implements a system prototype.In this paper,the completed research work are:①Database integration technology made comparative studies.②The establishment of a unified platform for data inquiry data inquiry model of heterogeneous database.③Rules designed to integration data dictionaries and provides for data integration rules.④Design and Implementation of a preliminary assessment of the available data inquiry system prototype.Preliminary test results show that the system can achieve predetermined functions,achieving better results conversion.
