Study On JXTA-based Cooperative Work System Application

Appearance of Peer-To-Peer (P2P) technology gives Cooperative Work more opened foreground. In P2P architecture, every peer can communicate directly instead of having to go through central servers, which avoid lots of disadvantage because of depending on server. JXTA defines a series of protocols for P2P architecture, it can deal with problems when building P2P network system, JXTA also offer a uniform platform for developing P2P network system.This thesis has made research and implementation on JXTA-based Cooperative Work System. Respective features of actual system were discussed. The thesis mainly includes: Analyzing implementation mechanism and feasibility of the actual system; Study modules and protocols of JXTA architecture,Some issues and important technology in designing are discussed in depth; Prototype, system architecture and function of modular are discussed for JXTA-based Cooperative Work System.At last, implementation of the system is given; it includes constructing peer group with membership service and method of joining in the peer group. Communication and discovering between peers are discussed in detail. The method of using text message to communicate between peers is put forward. By utilizing CMS, file sharing is implemented. Besides, under the condition of without server, the system achieves the parts of system management function.
