As the information overload on Internet, people have to depend on navigating assistance supplied by search engines. General used search engines, such as baidu, google, can satisfy the common query demands for any target fields, while they are not fit for demandings of customers who have specific needs of the target fields. As a result, field-specific search engines come into being, such as the yellow-page query system in telecommunication, the academic resource query systems. This paper has primary investigation into how to integrate the query interfaces of several academic resource databases and how to supply an unique interface for customers to query and access returning results.Every academic resource supplies its service to customers by means of Web accessing. The process is as following: a customer input interesting keyword into the query interface; summit such a query request to academic server; the academic resource process the request by means of retrieve records related to the interesting keywords from it database and returns the reords as the content of result Web page. Such is an interactive process between customers and academic servers, and the returning Web page is also produced dynamicly which has close relationships with the inputing interesting keywords. So, we call the returning Web page as Deep Web, which contains a subset of records related to the inputing interesting keywords in the academic resource database. In order to integrate digital paper resources in Fudan Library and supply personalized service to professors, a Deep Web Crawler for three Web Database sources (Cnki, ISI, Metalib) has been developed.
