The Research On Multi-Radar Plot Fusion Technique

Multi-radar data fusion is an interdisciplinary new technique developed in recent years. Compared with a single radar at detecting, tracking, target identify, it can enhance viability, security, robustness of system, boost reliability and precision of data, enlarge time and space coverage rate, strengthen the use of information and so on.The basic principles and methods of multi-radar plot fusion are introduced in the paper including arithmetic of time aligning, space aligning, fusion estimating as well as the arithmetic of multi-target tracking.In view of the differences of multi-radar sampling cycle and starting time, the paper introduces perfect space-time aligning, fusion estimating arithmetic.Space aligning is used to translate radar observation data into fusion centre platform data by coordinate transformation, the experimental radar is vessel radar, so vessel wobble quantity is added. In order to get synchronization data from multi-radar and finish time aligning, time aligning is cited. Table Least Squares Algorithm and weighted average method is used to achieve fusion estimating, those methods are of less calculate and easier achieved. Finally validate space-time aligning, fusion estimating, and target tracking arithmetic by emulate experiment.
