A mobile agent system mainly includes the mobile agent and the mobile runtime environment, the latter locates in the network node which provides the required working environment and system function to the mobile agent. How to run the agent on the distrustful platform, and extend the agent original trustful platform to other visited platforms are the agent security problems. The basic function of biological immune system is to identify self and non-self, and then to classify and eliminate non-self. The artificial immune system is an intelligent system which imitate the biological immune system. So the artificial immune system's immune identificaton, immune memory, immune learning and immune tolerance could be made use of to solve the agent security problem.A system configuration model which artificial immune theory is applied to the mobile agent system based on studing on the mobile agent theory and artificial immune system is prevented, then the genearl design scheme of the system model is presented. The immune monitor module uses the artificial immune theory to detect the agent real time , which moves to the platform. If finding the inbreak then restoring the agent. If failed, then alarm to resend. By this mechianism, when the agent moves to different platforms, the immune monitor module will detect it, which sloves the problem of extending the agent original trustful platform to other visited platforms.Finally, the main module is implemented based on the design scheme , and the model is simulated on the platform of Aglet. The results show that the system has a good detecting ability and performance.
