With the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the areas of communication and PC, the working frequency is increasing continually; RF and microwave circuits are widely applied. In contrast to forepart, using analysis of distributed parameter circuit, the microwave engineers combine microwave fundamental theories with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software while designing circuits. The software can help reduce workload and difficulty, abridge project cycle and enhance product performance. In order to meet the technical innovation, microwave technique teaching should tightly connect with engineering. So we designed a system for microwave experiments.This thesis has just discussed the most important modules, which are microstrip hairpin filter, BLNA and PLL source. First, a simple introduction about the development, as well as the fundamental principle of microstrip hairpin band pass filter is discussed. The character of electromagnetic coupling and the approach to design the filter by EDA is illustrated. An example of L-band filter is presented; tests and analysis about the circuit are also implemented. Second, the principle of amplifier is introduced. Using S parameter, we analyze the matching, gain and noise performance of BLNA, and design a circuit module meeting the demands by using MMIC chip. The differences between normal LNA and BLNA are also discussed. Finally, the principle of PLL is introduced. Using PLL chip Si4133, a frequency source module is designed, by whose principle and function configuration, the application and test results are given. The results indicate that these modules can satisfy the demand of the design and system operation, which are appropriate for experimental lessons as well. Parts of this thesis have references to actual project.
