In today's information society, the data storage safety is becoming increasingly important as the increasing importance of information. How to ensure safe and convenient data for preservation has long been a hot spot. With the growing peer-to-peer technology, P2P technology born with high fault-tolerance, high degree of freedom and high scalability attracted many scholars to study the use of peer-to-peer technology to achieve these characteristics of the distributed files backup.Based on the study of current P2P file storage system design characteristics and key P2P technology, a P2P file security backup systems, named Archive, is designed and implemented through the development of appropriate storage and lasting security strategy. Background and design objectives of P2P file backup systems are discussed; some technical achievements about it are analyzed; and an Abstract P2P Storage System Model is given to guide general P2P Storage System module design. Meanwhile, based on the file backup system design hypothesis, data redundant policy, data dispatch policy and data check policy are discussed, and File Virtual Storage is put forward.Based on the analysis of the whole system's primary storage strategy, the P2P file backup system framework is given, and the design of each module is discussed. Then elaborate the data structure about File Index Table, File Block and etc. The structure of the data in various system functions expression of the operation is discussed too.Through peer-to-peer file security backup systems assessment, we can see the document availability, Block properties and virtual disk performance is relatively good performance worthy of further improvement and development.
