Design And Realization Of Control Command And Data Transmission In Video Surveillance System

As a member of security guard that nowadays people pay more attention on, Video Surveillance System play an important role because of its advantages in video record, alert trigger, hard disk storage and multi-channel monitor. And in the whole Video Surveillance System, the most important thing is the transmission of control command and data.In the whole work, the related technologies about H.264 coding technology, TCP and UDP net transmission protocol, streaming media technology and socket coding. Then, the whole Video Surveillance System was designed, and the transmission of control command and data in this system was designed on this foundation. And next, we realized the transmission of control command and data in this system.It is the core part to design and realize the transmission of control command and data in this system. We made a united engagement on the command word to make the transmission of control command and data in this system convenient. The amount of the command data is small, for the purpose of the assurance that the control command can transmit dependably, we choose TCP to be the transmission protocol. The control command was transmitted by socket. The video server made an analysis on the control command when it was received. Then, the control command was dealt with. We choose H.264 coding technology to code the data which was collected by video camera, because the data which was compressed by H.264 technology is smaller, it can resolve the problem of the saving space shortage. The data was packed by Real-tine Transport Protocol(RTP) and Real-time Transport Control Protocol(RTCP) after coding. Client server sent Real-time Streaming Protocol(RTSP) message under RTSP protocol. When video server received this message, connect between client and server was set up. Then, RTP package was sent to client server. In the part that the transmission of control command and data was realized, we enumerated and explained the related and important function and structure by the process of control command and data transmission in the system.
