Radar is the sensor of military information system in a modern war, how to improve the ability of anti-jamming and viability in a modern warfare environment has become the pressing issues. Electronic countermeasure has been emerged by the extensive application of electromagnetic waves, and the EMP weapons have been improved to against the electronic equipments of enemy. Jammers used to suppress interference on the radar system are known as "soft destruction" and EMP weapons on the radar system of repression which are "hard destruction."In order to effectively target found in the background of noise jamming and not be destroyed by the EMP attack, how to effectively anti the noise jamming and taken self-protection under the EMP environment has been studied in this paper:①T he emission and echo signal model of pulse compression LFM radar, Pulsed Doppler radar, Phase-coded radar and Frequency Agile radar has been established and simulated. And the noise jamming model has been established and simulated;②For the filtering of radar echoes denoising, a new adaptive filter algorithm has been presented based on the traditional LMS adaptive filtering improvements. Simulation results show that the algorithm is applied to anti-noise radar is effective;③For against the strong electromagnetic pulse attacks on the radar system, established the strong electromagnetic pulse model. And the model established for electrical equipment in small size and large size under coupling problem has been simulated;④To protect the electronic equipments, the scheme of installing the multi-layer cut-off wave-guide windows by interlacement at the blowhole of the cabin is proposed to gradually weaken the coupling field intensity of the EMP which enters the cabin, and this scheme will not weakened the ventilation performance. The computer simulation and analysis of the protection scheme by the FDTD method show that it has a good protection effect.Simulation results show that the variable step LMS adaptive filtering algorithm convergence high-speedily, the filtering effect is effective and efficient; The scheme of installing the multi-layer cut-off wave-guide windows by interlacement at the blowhole of the cabin proposed in this paper not only has a good protection effect but also is feasible and practical.
