Although textile printing and traditional paper printing are both ways of pattern replication, their production processes are very different due to different printing substrate and coloring materials. Paper printing industry always uses 4color print method; pattern color information is repeated by C M Y K ink colors'combination. At the same time textile printing industry uses spot color dye to reproduce original image file. In this article, we use pigment printing process. Pigment is different to dye, there is no chemical reaction between pigment and textile fiber. In another way, we can use it as water based ink which is widely used in paper printing. So we can overprint when we use pigment printing process. That is to say, we can reduce the single color printing times and enlarge the printing color gamut. According to feature of pigment printing, we study the printing color model. This color model consists of color separation and printed color prediction. Color separation model is based on color quantization theory, we use tetrahedral linear interpolation method to calculate amount of each spot color ink. At the meanwhile, textile surface structure's influence is analyzed. Color prediction is based on generalized Neugebauer model. By regarding textile surface structure as texture pattern, we try to modify the printed color prediction model by considering the influence of textile texture .At last, we designed a experiment to validate the correctness of this color prediction model.
