With the development of the network technology and embedded technology,the application of the embedded Web technology in monitoring system is becoming the latest development trend in the monitoring field.Different from the former monitoring technology based on C / S and B / S,the embedded Web remote monitoring system usually adopts an embedded system as the Web server,so greatly reduces the cost of the system.The smart device is also convenient to be installed and easy to be maintained and it can provide safe and reliable services.It can meet the requirments of the modern monitoring system such as scalability,distributed operation,real-time, and so on.This technology has been receiving extensive attention since it came out. All kinds of solutions and implementation methods have come out continuously.The embedded Web technology can be used in a lot of field in the near future.Under this background,the development of an embedded remote monitoring system based on Web is performed in this paper.The appearance of the embedded Web monitoring technology profited from the rapid development of the electronic manufacturing techniques and the extensive application of the embedded operating system.ARM is a favorite all the time in embedded fields since it came forth.Its ratio of market possession is very high. S3C2410 of Sum sung Company which is based on ARM920T kernel is a successful ARM product.It has abundant hardware resources and is praiseful in control fields. And ARM Linux is an excellent embedded real-time operating system,it came from the standard Linux kernel,and did some related transplants mainly for the ARM processor,therefore it has a good transportability.This paper sets forth firstly fundamental concept,history and developmental state of embedded Web.The article also elaborate crucial technology and foundation of theory about embedded Web.Then it introduces developmental balcony of software and hardware and how to establish the plateform:We use the hardware plateform which regards s3c2410 as CPU;and choose ARM Linux which is opened and has exceptional internet function as os.And we build intercross compile environment in PC.On the basis of those theories,we bring up feasible scheme of embedded Web. On the basis of Boa,we realize dynamic Web,and finish interaction function between people and PC combined with the CGI technology and socket technology.User can use browser to monitor remote device.At last,the embedded Web Sevrer is applied in "The design of the monitoring system based on Web" of Guangzhou Pilotek Ltd.,it reasonably applies the research results to the practice and acquires evident effect.
