Community organization consists of individuals, which are communicated and influenced each other directly or indirectly. As the expanding of community organization's scale and the variational environment, the survival and development of organizations are facing more uncertainty. The methods of traditional sociological theory and organizational theory are static and lack of integrated and dynamic analysis. The development of complex adaptive system (CAS) theory and computer simulation technology have provided a new way for the research of community organization.In the paper, a computer model of community organization formation process is constructed, which is based on the theory of complex adaptive system. This model consists of environment, agents and interaction rules among agents or between agents and environment. Agents are randomly distributed on the environment, which is a two-dimensional grid in a virtual space. By extracting and modeling the intelligent properties and decision-making actions of agents, the micro-behavior rules of agents, as well as the interaction rules between the agents and environment are given;And then,the Java programming technology is used to implement the model on the Swarm simulation platform. The graphic user interfaces on the platform are designed to control and setup the simulation process. The amounts of agents and resources,as well as the interaction rules between the agents can be conveniently changed to simulate different forms of community organization ; Finally , the simulation of emergence, movement and development changes about community organization are made on the platform, and the dynamic evolution process of community organization formation can be observed by visualization windows. Through the analysis of simulation results , the key factors that impact the development of community organization are found and are consistent with the actual properties of community organization.
