With quickly developing of society, Human beings turned to gather tightly more than ever. While high density of crowd turned up more often, crowd safety obtains scientist's attention. As a main tool of research fields, computer is becoming more and more important. Using computer to assess public safety got to hot and serious in recent years.Among lots of models used to simulate crowd behavior, work of Helbing and his colleague, social force model, is the most successful and powerful model. This model, we call HMFV in this thesis, successfully simulated process of crowd evacuation, affirmed several phenomenon, which include crowd clog, "Faster is slower" , and etc.Several years pasted, there is lots of work has been done to improve HMFV model. In this thesis, author tries to gather other scientists' excellent work and found a best way to get the model evolution.Following chapter will review works of other scientists, analyze HMFV detailed, and finally give his improvement of the HMFV. This including collision detection algorithm and adjust of parameters used in HMFV.
