Accompanying with the great movement on the computer graphics, the three-dimensional expression has become popularized on data. The three-dimensional expression on data, which is mainly that processes the data and computation into detailed and visualized graphic expression by the way and technology of computer graphics, has become a very important practical field of computer graphics. the expression has turned traditional two-dimension into three-dimension about the distribution map of geological natural resources. In this dissertation, the simulation expression is realized on three-dimensional graphics of geological resources data, and the functions of zooming in, zooming out, parallel shift and the expression on section plane of any random position, are realized.In this article, firstly, the geological resources data is pretreated, that is the data numerated from the database is transferred into the readable type by Java3D. A great number of rule less data are adopted for constructing Delaunay triangle net before building three-dimensional graph, and the way of incremental insertion is used to construct the basic Delaunay triangle net, by that building reference array, therefore creating three-dimensional graph with Java3D exploitation package. Secondly, a section plane is designed, in order to that the customer can conveniently observe the distribution of geological resources, moreover, the customer can observe specific section plane by selecting the random position on three-dimensional graph. After computing the intersection between the section plane and triangle plane, triangle net is adjusted, then triangle net is LOP optimized, and several special cases of intersection are distinctively transacted, by the array including saved data, the triangle plane is built in order to realize the creation of section plane on selected position. Lastly, the functions of shift, circumgyrating and zoom are realized for the customer use about three-dimensional distribution map of geological resources. The systematic antitype described in this dissertation realizes the visual expression on the data of geological natural resources, with that the three-dimensional graph and the basic operation of zoom are implemented, and the section plane of three-dimensional graph can be realized, having certain value of use in practice. This can be applied in many areas for example geological prospecting, mine exploitation and so on.
