Archives Infomition Digitization Management System Of LPEC Development And Applications

As a result of wide application of computer-aided design (CAD) in design professionals in China, a huge amount of electronic files are generated. Many of the files contain information that can be utilized repeatedly if the information in these files is readily accessible. For this purpose, many file management systems are implemented to enhance the efficiency of file management. But it remains a challenge that the current file management systems cannot efficiently search and retrieve the information from existing files. By reviewing the various systems and their weakness, we realize that the archiving process needs an overhaul. To achieve the goal, a new process is proposed, which covers the personnel organization, the management of the system accounts, blueprint scan and archive, and module management. Standards for blueprint archive are also proposed so that the archived CAD file truly reflects the object. This process has been implemented and proved to be successful. It has laid a solid foundation for repeated use of CAD files and significantly advanced CAD file management technology.
