Design And Implementation Of A Web Mail System Based On MVC Mode

COALMAIL System is a new professional mail system for the small and medium business enterprise. It is safe and easy to manage and extend. It is designed to meet the need of the Internet/ Intranet mail system of electronic commercial website and big or medium-sized business enterprises. It is sure to the customer that the system can provide good service and excellent system function.The structure of the COALMAIL Mail System adopts MVC mode and B/S structure. The sub-system and modules are divided according to the function. The system is divided into four parts, Authentication sub-system, Receiving and Sending sub-system, Mailbox Management sub-system and Knowledge Supervision subsystem. Each sub-system includes many modules with different functions.The OS of the mail system development is Windows XP. JDK is convenient to develop and debug Java applications, Tomcat is the container of JSP and Servlet, Dreamweaver MX which is a tool for web page design is used here to develop one part of JSP pages, Access is used as database because the function is realized partly and the data scale is very small, Editplus is used to write Java source programs, and Imail is the backstage mail server.The prototype of COALMAIL system has been implemented basically, and will be further extended and improved in its practical use.
