With the development of computer technology, control system become more and more intelligent, and conventional control system at the same time becoming more and more difficult to meet the chemical process control system requirements in terms of intelligence.In this paper, coordination and intelligent control thinking is proposed in the typical large and complex chemical process. The field expert knowledge is integrated into the intelligent control system. Hybrid Petri Nets is used to build a model of expert coordination control system, the consistency of a conflict is checked. Simple Hybrid Petri net modeling and simulation software is developed based on VB language.For a typical chemical process- DMF distillation recycling process, improvement is proposed for the existing recycling process, intelligent controller is added in the improved system. Siemens and KingView are used as a platform to set up coordination and control system, which is running through the field, proved the reliability of the algorithm.Further, the large-scale chemical process is decomposed into small, mutual communication, mutual coordination and easy to manage multi-agent system. The proposed extension of Petri nets-colored bus Petri nets, is used to establish the multi-agent model, and carry out the static and dynamic characteristics analysis. The common Colored Petri Net software -CPN-TOOLS is used to validate the dynamic and static characteristics of the model, which proved the correctness of Petri net model.Petri net based modeling and analysis combined with on-site test proved the effectiveness of coordinated control system, which can be easily integrated with existing DCS system for intelligent control. The control system has broad prospects for development.
