Based on the analysis of the existing engraving machine CNC system's advantages and disadvantages and according to NC technology's development, effective-cost carving machine DC servo control system's overall design scheme based on high-performance DSP is proposed. Around this overall design scheme, in the interpolation algorithm research, through small segment of the high-speed processing speed of convergence recursive mathematical model of speed and the contour of the amendment, adaptive function interpolation algorithm with looking-ahead capability is achieved. In order to improve the tracking performance of carving and positioning accuracy, the zero phase error tracking controller (ZPETC) is introduced to design of the carving machine in the DC servo control system. Then through the model identification, nonlinear friction compensation arid design of disturbance observer shortcomings of sensitivity to system modeling errors and system parameters in ZPETC has been overcome.On the basis of abovementioned researches, a real-time two-dimensional DC servo motion control hardware system has been erected which is cored by TMS320C2812-32 fixed-point DSP for control and chooses L6203 for power drive module and small DC motor power for the implementation parts. In addition all software development of the system has been completed on DSP developing platform. To meet the system's requirements to high-speed data communication DSP serial communication's real-time performance and its improving measures has been deeply studied. A multi-buffer zone parallel collaborative approach has been put forward, well solved the real-time data communication problem. The system's experimental results show that this system can be widely used in CNC engraving machine products with stable operation, high tracking accuracy and fast processing speed.
