Grid technology comes from wide-area computing, especially benefits from high-powered computing, which can organize all sorts of distributed resources in the absence of central controlling, omniscience and strong trust .With the application of grid technology turning to application s , Grid security has become more and more important. The distribution of source, the difference of security mechanism and access control policy make security authentication, data confidentiality, access control more important in data grid. And traditional security model can not meet security needs in data grid, it is very important for data grid development to strengthen security research .Authentication and access control are two major aspects that impact grid security. In this paper, we mainly pay attention to these two aspects. For identity authentication, firstly we use ECC to improve Kerberos, secondly propose a certification converting model can solve the compatible problem between Kerberos and PKI. For access control, we divide relationship into inner-domain and inter-domain, and also propose deferent calculation and converting method for trust degree to different domain ,which solve crossing trust problem effectively .
