Gated Myocardial Perfusion Imaging Processing Software Comparison: QGS And ECToolbox

Objective:To investigate the gated myocardial SPECT(G-SPECT) processing software ECToolbox the three parameters of left ventricular function calculation method(R0,R1,R2) and(QGS) software in the determination of left ventricular end-diastolic volume(EDV), end-systolic volume(ESV),ejection fraction(LVEF) whether there were differences and preliminary analysis of its causes,as well as the correlation,consistency and repeatability between these two software.Methods:90 patients with suspected coronary heart disease,and used resting gated myocardial SPECT imaging,54 cases male and 36 cases female,aged 20 to 80 years old,with an average age of 56.81±13.92.fasting intravenous ^99mTc-MIBI 740-925 MBq and 15 min after consumption of fat meal,60 min after injection have resting gated myocardial SPECT.GE Infinia Hawkeye SPECT / CT with high-resolution low-energy collimator can peak 140 Key, window width 20%Zoom = 1.28,64×64 matrix,the probe rotate 180°,3°/ frame,collecting 35s each frame,each cardiac cycle has 8 interval,a total of 480.Butterworth filter,cutoff frequency = 0.52,steep Factor = 5.Data used in the three kinds of ejection fraction calculation methods(R0,R1,R2) of ECToolbox software and QGS software on the GE SPECT equipment, automatic sketches left ventricular endocardial and epicardial borders.All images were collected by the three physicians who have professional experience and once again from a physician in different time to deal with the three times,computer automatically draw EDV,ESV,LVEF values. Imaging results of 56 cases of normal,sparse distribution of imaging agent or defect of 34 cases. Data Analysis:SPSS13.0 statistical software was used for data relevance,consistency and repeatability test.Correlation using linear correlation analysis,consistency analysis using Bland-Airman law.The results of four grunps using homogeneity of variance test and analysis of variance,P＜0.05 indicated statistical significance,LSD method can be used to further multi-group comparison.Results:1.On the same SPECT equipment,ECToolbox(R0,R1,R2) and QGS in the determination of EDV,ESV,LVEF values were highly correlated with a correlation coefficient of r-EDV = 0.993, r-ESV = 0.990～0.994,r-LVEF = 0.959～0.970,P＜0.001.Use Bland-Altman method consistency test,we can see that more than 95%of the scattered points in twice the standard deviation. 2.On the same SPECT equipment,R0,R1,R2 and QGS of EDV,ESV,LVEF value of the analysis of variance(ANOVA) showed that group EF values meaningful difference(F = 8.008,P＜0.001),further used LSD comparison showed that R0,R2 measured values higher than the EF of QGS;the EF values of R1 and QGS without statistical significance;EF values of R0,R1,R2 are statistically different.EDV and ESV groups were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).3.In the normal group QGS and R1 of the EF value has significant differance;QGS measurement is lower than R0,R2,R1 measurement is lower than R0,R2,R0 measurement is lower than R2,the difference between them are statistically Significance(P＜0.001).EDV and ESV group were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).4.In the abnormal group ECToolbox and QGS of the EF value has significance differance(F = 3.240,P＜0.05),further use of LSD:QGS and R0,R1,R0 and R1,R2 measured EF value was not significant,QGS measurement is lower than R2,R1 measurement is lower than R2,among them a measure of statistical significance(P＜0.001).EDV value group,ESV values were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).5.90 Patients images by the same physician in a different time to deal with the three times, respectively calculated EDV,ESV,LVEF,statistical analysis showed that different operators,as well as between the same operation repeat the measurements showed no significant difference (P＞0.05).Conclusion:1.QGS and ECToolbox measurement of left ventricular function parameters have a high degree of coherence and consistency.2.On the same SPECT equipment,QGS and R1 measured by the EDV,ESV,there were no significant differences of LVEF;In the abnormal group,QGS and R0 measured by EF was no significant difference.3.ECToolbox software have a good repeatability.
