Apply Information Technology To Historical Studies

The increasingly rising of historical informatics in the world wide extension is becoming a new impetus which pushes the historiography himself to explore the macrocosmic rule and the evolvement in history. It come into being that the principal part of historical research-the historian are absolutely requested to predominate more new information technology skills! The development of information technology brings new chance for the historical research and influences deeply and greatly. It infiltrates each lay of historical research. We've already realized some of them ,while we can't notarize others of them currently. Because computers have effected enormously in quantifying and comparing historical researches, to use computers as typewriters has been the past. Digitizing data of literature is a revolution for the historical data collection and coordination, and it is also a revolution for the study of history. The progress of methods and instruments will surely influence the content of studies.This paper is divided into 3 parts totally.In foreword part, the rising of historical informatics is introduced, the cause and meaning of selection for this article is described.In chapter one, it construct the applying model of historical informatics by not using mathematical language but natural language.In chapter two, it describes the meaning of applying model of historical informatics and partitions the subject and the object of the model into three lays.In chapter three, it takes some examples to show the uses of historical informatics in historical studies.In the last part it collectivity values the historical informatics in three ways: the macrocosmic tide, the developing foreground and the request for his historian's attainments.
