Authenticity, Integrality And Utility Preservation Of Digital Archives

With the rapid development of digital technology, more and more records and archives appear in digital format. Digital archives have some characteristics, which distinguish to traditional records and archives. It bring us an opportunity to develop the information service effectively, at the same time, it also bring us more challenges about archive management. In digital era, it is much more difficult to preserve authenticity,integrality and utility of archives. Thus, it is one of important subjects to discuss methods about these serious problems.The whole thesis consists of four parts: In the first part, based on the characteristics of digital archives, the author points out the difficulties during the authenticity,integrality and utility preservation of digital archives. In the next three parts, the author discusses the connotation of authenticity,integrality and utility, then recommends and analyzes relevant technologies and management methods of preservation.
