Su Qing is one of the famous woman writers on the history of the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature. Besides writing, she is an editor. From October of 1943 to June of 1945, as the proprietor, editor in chief and publisher, she had finished editing 21 periods of the world. Editing the world independently distinguished Su Qing from the other woman writers at the same time. This thesis tries to analyze how the role gathering the author, edit, and publisher on the whole body of herself affected Su Qing's writing and the editing strategy of the world from the angle that writing corresponds with editing. This thesis also analyzes the difficult existing condition of the knowledge female in the environment of modern cities.The world was founded by Su Qing herself and its editing style had the same tendency of feminism and public interest like her literary works. Although from the analysis of the editing and managing strategy of the world, we can see that, for the sake of survival and development of the publication, Su Qing compromise her feminism to business interests heavily in the editing process. Overall, the world was not a feminine publication although it had paid great attention to the women.Because of the guide and support of Lin Yutang and Tao Kangde on the literary road, Su Qing' editing thoughts were deeply influenced by the literary interests of the two people. At the same time, in the communication with other writers in Tao Kangde' literary group, Su Qing promoted friendship with " the scholar traitors of China " such as Chen Gongbo and Zhou Fohai. Because of the contribution and financing of social resources to the world of "the scholar traitors of China", Su Qing got in the troubles to defend herself on the count about "the offence of treason" in the next few years.
