The Design And Realization Of The Management Information System For The Researching Instruments In Universities

Scientific research instruments are the important supporting conditions for researching and teaching activities in universities. To enforce the administration of research instruments and further to improve their utility and make them function perfectly are the important conditions for the normal researching and teaching activities in universities. Based on Web, to develop a well-functioned management information system for the researching instruments could not only improve the administration in each unit, but also could provide relevant information resources for education information of the whole university as well as the departments of education supervision.This paper has demonstrated the whole process of developing the management information system of researching instruments in universities. First, after analyzing the reality and requirements of managing the research instruments in universities, the designer programmed the triplex-layer systematic outline on the basis of B/S framework. Second, during the process of design, the designer programmed the macrocosm structure of the management information system of research instruments, by taking advantage of the frame mode of Struts framework which has conformed Hibernate techniques. Third, this design laid out the particular functional modes of the system, including the accounts administration of the instruments, the employment administration, communion administration, disposition administration, evaluation and checkout, and allocation and so on. At the same time, the design displayed the particular flow program of each mode, and the movement diagrams and sequence diagrams of key modes based on UML. Last, the design built up a complete management information system for the teaching and researching instruments, and achieved a complete administration system for the research instruments in universities.In conclusion, the design and implement of this system ensures the network and information of the instruments administration in the whole education supervision department, meanwhile it accelerates the process of university managerial information...
