The Research Of Spatial Relationship In CBIR

The basic steps of spatial relationship based image retrieval are image segmentation and similarity retrieval.Fist of all, the paper analyzes and introduces the features of color, texture, and shape, which are used frequently in CBIR. Then in order to get the image features of spatial relationship, image segmentation and object location are most important steps for the paper. In the step of image segmentation, DWT-HMM and DWT-GMM are advanced in the paper. Two of the models have been realized for segmenting image, and DWT-GMM can come out the better results. Finally, 2-D string is the way to locate image objects which are gained from image segmentation. And the method for describing spatial feature can be implemented easily without to much unnecessary calculating and shows various kinds of spatial relationship.
