Study On The Archival Undertaking Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Democratic Revolution Period

As early as the New Democratic Revolution Period, the Communist Party of China valued archives and related archival works dearly. It set up its own archival works at the beginning of the establishment of the Party in response to the call of the development of the revolutionary war, and it continuously improved and enriched its archival undertaking,and formed a relatively witty and flexible system of the archives management and a good tradition of valuing archives and archival works in the end. During the time of the revolution continuing, the archival undertaking under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party not only inherited the ancient excellence of the archives management of China, but fully absorbed the thoughts of the great proletarian mentors of Marx, Engels and Lenin's, though theoretically, methodologically and also technologically it cannot be matched with the contemporary archival undertaking of China now, it definitely laid the foundation of today's archival undertaking of China like what strong stones are to great mansions. The active exploration, the brave pioneering, the pragmatic way of dealing with the archival work, and the farsighted archival consciousness of the revolutionary leaders of the first generation's together with their archival values, plus countless archival workers'heroic spirit of daring not the hardness, not the death and a total selfishness while working, all of these give the developing archival undertaking of the nation now an infinite stimulation and inspiration.This thesis which analyzes and studies the archival undertaking of the Chinese Communist Party in the New Democracy Period by using the historical facts combining the theoretics of the archives management consists of three parts. Part one studies the historical background and theoretical origin from the ancient practices and thoughts of archives management of China and the archival practices and thoughts of the great proletarian mentors like Mark, Engels and Lenin respectively; Part two mainly discusses the practices of the archives management of the CPC and its management thoughts from its archival institutions and mechanism and five aspects of archival works'in the New Democratic Revolution Period so as to reveal the main content of this time's archival undertaking, which is also the main part of this thesis; Part three analyzes the historical position of the archival undertaking in the revolutionary time and studies its usefulness, reference and inspiration to the current archival undertaking of China.
