| From the angle of narratology, the objectivity of TV news is determined by the objective effect produced with video and audio. For the purpose of"being loyal to the truth"and an objective, just and comprehensive effect of narration which makes the audience believe the news is true reflection of the original story, narrators work hard on the operational level of news to create a kind of"symbolic reality"or"media reality"through operation of cameras. Thereby, the settings and adoptions of different narrative angles play an important role in strengthening the effect of objectivity. This dissertation chooses"News Broadcast on CCTV","News Probe","Topics in Focus","Legal Report"from CCTV as study samples to analyze how narrative position builds the objectivity of news report and different approaches of position tactics like position transfer, first person position, accompany position, plot position, combination of positions. Further, this paper will point out the limitation of narrative position in creating the effect of objectivity. |
