A FVRML/VRML Virtual 3D Broswer Construction Based On OpenGL

With computer art continuously deepening and developing in teaching and application, virtual experiment has become a direction in the fields of experiment teaching studies. In order to facilitate researchers in different parts of the joint development of virtual experiment, it is necessary to design a wrl format file browser. The paper has developed a FVRML/VRML vitual 3D file browser based on OpenGL.The browser is designed by object-oriented languge Visual C++ and simple document structure based on document/view, its remarkable characterististic can have high execution speed when it deals with wrl format files. Maintenance and management of three-dimension data can be realized breezily by object-oriented means.Three-dimensions graph is simulated as model and optimization design. It can enhance the ablity to construct virtual object by using the OpenGL API interface.Having adopted the FVRML/VRML Modeling Language, the browser has the ablity to develop the three-dimension model. The browser can fit for the development of virtual experiment environment based on network and establish the foundation for web-based virtual experiment.This paper detailedly researches the FVRML/VRML modeling language and browser construction of the process.
