Research Of The Pattern Generation On The Surface Of 3D Model Based On Characteristic Of Picture

Rapid Prototyping(RP)technology has been developed in the late 80's,which integrates New Material Science,CAD,Numerical Control and Laser Technology.It is one of the advanced manufacturing technologies nowdays.Throngh applying this technology,three-dimensional entity model can be built up directly from CAD models.This technology is widely used in the product design and rapid evalution,modification and function test,which effectively reduce the perid of reseach and design.Date processing is the key of the Rapid Prototyping,CAD building-up is the basis of date processing.How to rapidly build up 3D model has directly impact to the efficiency of the Rapid Prototyping.With development of computer and digital conduct,We can gain a large number of photograph conveniently.People can take full advantage of there information to product exploitation.In this article,we combine the technology of digital image processing with the Rapid Prototyping Manufacture technology,and mainly carry on reseaching two aspects:In former department discusses the digital image processing,introduces the basic concepts and basic principals of the technology of digital image processing,and analyses the process of digital image processing,gives detailed introduction of some algorithms,including image reading,image binarizing,noise-reducing,image thinner,as well as raster to vector conversion.This article experiments with some new methods when carrying out the application of the image processing methods.In the end the file format of drawing exchanging file(DXF)of CAD is analyzed and the image processing results are input to the CAD software,and those algorithms obtain effect preferably.The last part of reseach specifically demonstrates the reality of STL model, Using the open graphic-processing tool of OpenGL,the software can show us the STL model vivid.All functions have the fine man-machineinterfaces and comfortable communicating ability,these manipulations include translation,rotation,zoom,and so on.Finally,we makes a conclusion of the whole research work and points out the shortages in the system.Some potential research tonics in the future are put forward too.
