At the beginning of 20th century, the induction heating power supply starts to emerge. It is non-contact heating supply. It has high heating temperature and very high efficiency. Meanwhile, the heating temperature of power supply is controlled easily. It has good operating environment and can heating complex workpiece. So the induction heating power supply is become the hot issues. The following aspects are made in this paper:In topology of the power supply, PWM rectifier is used so as to reduce harmonic, increase power factor and improve efficiency. In control method, analog control circuit is adopted in traditional induction heating power supply, which has low control accuracy, less flexibility and reliability. Digital control method based on dsPIC30F6010 is used in this paper. It not only track load frequency, but also implement phase-shifted control of output power. The control precision of system is improved and reliability is enhanced. The load is nonlinear and uncertain in induction heating. Its parameters can be changed along with heating temperature. So the out voltage of inverter is controlled by fuzzy PI controller.Multi-inverter is made in the induction heating supply. It can meet automatization product line and batch production of induction heating. The system design and the control software are completed in this paper. The simulations are finished, and results of the power supply are applied in the guide roller.
